Writer's Block: Life in the boob tube

What fictional television show would you want to live in? What character would you play?

This is surprisingly easy. Huh.

I would be the awesome-as-ever Claudia Donovan in Warehouse 13.

And live there. With artefacts. Or is it artifacts?
And other random and strange crap.

I would also know how to hack. And be really really weird.

Life doesn't get better xD

 Wow. It's been a ..while.
A little more than that.
You get the gist.

Let's see.
I had an exam yesterday. Of which I gave only 1 paper. Horribly.
The entire duration consisted of me staring at the paper blankly, not even trying.

Told mum that I was feeling unwell. Pleaded. Begged her to take me home. Called up dad. He agreed. Pacified (yeah right) mum. She scolded screamed her head off at me.
Went home. Mum screamed some more. About how she travelled on a bus and gave the JEE. And then returned on a bus. And how that so bloody enduring of her. How I was a complete weakling for not even being able to stand the heat.
Ignored her as usual. I don't think I could've been alive for this long without ignoring her. Then again, I'm not sure whether staying alive is the best plan.

Slept for a few hours. Woke up to mum screaming her head off. Again. Studied for UT. Finished HW.

Realised that maybe her anger was justified. I'd taken pretty much the entire week off to prepare for it.

Still in a funk.

Writer's Block: Parlez-vous francais?

What other foreign languages do you know? Which one(s) do you want to learn?

Non, je ne parle pas le francais, mais je le comprends.

Depends what you call foreign really.

But let's see-
French (not so good with the speaking part though)

Languages I'd like to learn-
Japanese (this is mostly because it sounds AWESOME. Yes I'm weird like that. But you knew that.)

That's about it, really.

Although Russian might not be bad. But I can do a Russian accent, so I'll pass :P

If you had the option to learn the exact moment and details of your death, would you choose to know?

Wow. Very erm.......debatable question, this.
But yes, yes I would.
It's the not knowing that kills me really. (No pun intended. Ok, ok that was entirely intentional. Jeez.)

Ignore title. I just wanted Neal's expression. Without making any effort. So.
And for all legal purposes, I've never considered stealing gems in Myanmar either.
But I digress.
/goes back to post.

Also, it agrees with my grand plan of killing myself.

Wait, I've never mentioned this on LJ before, have I?
Maybe I'll post about it. When I have loads of time. Which I don't now.

Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!

Now, I'm generally not a huge fan of multiple entries in a day.

But LJ's been HORRID throughout the week.

The ONLY week I was completely, absolutely FREE. :C

So I have 5 entries written out on Word. Which I'll post later. Age-old entries *sigh*

I can't post anything new this week, I have a gi-fucking-normous test this Sunday.
By that I mean it's a test comprising of 17 chapters. With 100 Qs in each. Out of which I have completed 3 Qs in the 1st chapter.
I'm surprisingly hard-working like that. -.-

So anyhoo, I GOT IN XD
Pottermore, I mean.
It was SO EASY. Very non-HP question. You had to write a particular Chapter No.

Now, I haven't read the CoS since I was 6. So 10 years later, I still got it right in the first 3 tries.

Not because I have badass memory, but because I have this thing called *common sense*
ANYBODY could get in. I don't like that. :C

Anyhoo, pics to follow XD
Because I'm supremely nerdy like that.

I'm pretty sure I'd opened this page to write about something in particular.
I just can't remember what  :S
I need a Remembrall, not Neville.

So anyhoo, pics - under the cut of course :)

Because I was THAT excited.Collapse )

 Dear Pottermore,

It's 2:30 pm here. PM. PM.

Half-crazed fanatic  who may or may not have taken proper medication. And who's sitting in front of the computer with a battered copy of CoS.
Who, incidentally, is tired of refreshing.

Just saying.

Writer's Block: Life imitating art

Which movie or book character are you most like, and why?

One character? Only one?
C'est impossible! It can't be done.
Mainly because I just had a LOT OF role models when I was a kid. Role models that were book characters, that is.
I guess I always admired Matilda and Hermione- the smart chicks, really.
I guess that's it, I just LOVED all those genius people. I think it shows :D
Artemis Fowl, Lisbeth Salander- that girl is pure AWESOME, and millions more that aren't striking me right now.
Now that I do remember, the poor guy in the Enid Blyton Mystery Series, whose initials were F.A.T.
That guy was pure genius :D His name was.............shit.................Fred Algernon Totter-something?
Lemme check, it's oooh Frederick Algernon Trotteville. That is very very accurate for a book I'd read 10 years ago :O

Oh wait, I guess I didn't actually answer the question. But I don't think I could. There's parts of me from so many books, it's impossible to separate them out. Hmm.

Writer's Block: Saints and sinners

If you found a wad of cash on the ground, would you keep it? Donate it? Take it to the police?

A wad of cash? A WAD of cash?
I'd look around and check who's playing the prank and what is it.
Cuz I'm super genius like that. *nods wisely*
But hypothetically speaking, if there was no trick, I'd pick it up.
Cuz I'm also completely immoral like that. :D

...And an even thinner one separating insanity and criminal intent.

Okay, it’s official, our school is INSANE. No, not in the “this high a fee for a month?! Your school’s insane” or “Keeping children in school in this heat? It’s insane.”  way. Unfortunately.
More like the "Send them to a mental asylum in a straitjacket with armed guards accompanying them at all times" way. I only wish I was kidding.

Stats time: Our school has, on an average, 40 students per section, 10 sections per class, and there are 3 classes in our building. Which makes it nearly 1200 students in the building.

Okay I’m exaggerating a bit, but nothing less than 1000, I’m sure. Or, you know, 800. Whatever.

Anyhoo, our genius principal or some other great personality from the Rehab For Insane School Authorities which seem to have descended on our school like a horde of vultures had this amazing idea. Why not block all the exits and the staircases at all floors after school gets over? It’s not like people WANT to go home or anything.
They probably took the whole ‘school is jail’ thing a little too seriously. Way too seriously.

Too bad that they thought a single clueless teacher would work as a barricade against the hundreds of half-crazed people who thought they were about to escape from any further zombification. It reminded of crazed fans and paparazzi, really. Only, beyond the gates lay freedom from the sweltering heat ~ooh irony and studies instead of glitzy glamour.
Oh well.

It was CRAZY. I guess you had to be there to see it. It could’ve been dangerous, people were pushing hard right in front of the staircases. I was squashed into a wall until I managed to grip the grill of a window and hang on for dear life.
Ah, school. No place quite like it. Although federal prison is starting to sound pretty similar. *sighs*

I know I have been absent for a while. Well, a lot of time, really. Which I spent being very ~productive~ aka reading Daria and AS/S :3 fan-fiction, downloading fan-mixes and trying *unsuccessfully* to finish the holiday homework.

I have been commenting though *nods fervently*

Although, I should warn you, I’ll be posting even less nowadays. School has started and there’s coaching and everything. :C
I’ll try to post once a week at least. No promises though.

Gazing at my adorable new cyanide pills,

Writer's Block: Part deux

Which movie sequel do you like better than the first, and why?

Step Up 2 was TONS better than Step Up. This is such a d-u-h question~
